Simona en su nuevo empleo
Es el primer día de trabajo de Simona en la nueva oficina. Tan pronto como llega a su escritorio, conoce a Carla, su colega.
Simona: Buenos días.
Carla: ¡Hola y bienvenida! Soy Carla.
S: Es un placer conocerte. Yo soy Simona.
C: Este es tu escritorio, ponte cómoda.
S: Gracias. Parece una oficina muy tranquila.
C: Es lo suficientemente silenciosa. Los peores momentos son la primera y última semana del mes, pero por lo general el ritmo de trabajo aquí es bastante manejable ¿Tienes alguna experiencia previa con contabilidad?
S: Sí, pero sobre todo contabilidad básica. En mi trabajo anterior estuve más involucrada en administración y almacenamiento.
C: Ya veo. Pero verás que aprenderás rápidamente. Vi que venías a pie… ¿Vives cerca?
S: No, tomé el autobús hoy porque mi auto no funcionaba. La parada del autobús está al final de la calle, así que caminé un poco.
C: Oh, lamento escuchar eso ¿Donde vives?
S: No muy cerca, a 20 kilómetros de la autopista.
C: ¡Ah!, entonces vivimos cerca. Vivo también a esa distancia de la autopista. Si quieres, puedo llevarte a casa esta tarde.
S: Gracias, que amable de tu parte! Acepto con mucho gusto.
C: ¡Magnífico! Ahora te traeré algunos archivos y te mostraré lo que debes hacer.
S: Ok, manos a la obra.
Simona in her new job
It’s Simona’s first day of work in the new office. As soon as she arrives at her desk she meets Carla, her colleague.
Simona: Good morning.
Carla: Hello and welcome! I am Carla.
S: It’s a pleasure to meet you. I am Simona.
C: This is your desk, make yourself comfortable.
S: Thanks. It looks like a very quiet office.
C: It’s quiet enough. The worst moments are the first and last week of the month, otherwise the pace of work here is rather manageable. Do you have any previous experience with accounting?
S: Yes, but mostly basic accounting. In my previous job I was more involved in administration and warehousing.
C: I see. But you’ll see that you will learn quickly. I saw that you came on foot … Do you live nearby?
S: No, I took the bus today because my car wasn’t working. The bus stop is at the end of the road so I walked a bit.
C: Oh, I’m sorry to hear that. Where do you live?
S:Not very close; 20 kilometers from the highway
C: Ah!, then we live near eachother. I also live that far from the highway. If you want, I can give you a ride home this evening.
S: Thanks, how kind of you! I accept gladly.
C: Great! Now I’ll bring you some files and show you what you need to do.
