Le pêcheur à la ligne
Mon grand-père s’appelle Vincent.
Il habite en Sicile.
Mon grand-père est un très bon pêcheur à la ligne.
Dans sa jeunesse, il a travaillé comme ouvrier.
Mais maintenant, il est à la retraite.
Alors, il va pêcher tous les jours.
Il se lève tôt, avant l’aube !
Ensuite, il prépare sa canne à pêche.
Il choisit le bon appât.
Et il part pêcher au bord de la mer.
Il attrape toujours au moins un poisson.
Vers le soir, grand-père Vincent rentre à la maison.
Il est toujours heureux.
Il nettoie le poisson qu’il a rattrapé.
Et ensuite, grande-mère Annie le fait cuire.
Le poisson est toujours délicieux.
The angler
My grandfather is called Vincent.
He lives in Sicily.
My grandfather is a very good angler.
As a young man, he worked as a manual worker.
But he’s retired now.
So, he goes fishing every day.
He gets up early, before dawn!
Then, he prepares his fishing rod.
He chooses the right bait.
And goes fishing by the sea.
He always catches at least one fish.
Towards evening, grandpa Vincent returns home.
He’s always happy.
He cleans the fish he caught.
And then, grandma Annie cooks it.
The fish is always delicious.
