Le match
L’été est une saison magnifique.
Le soleil, la chaleur, les vacances…
L’été est une période pleine de vie.
J’habite dans un immeuble de six étages.
J’y habite au premier.
Il y a un bar en dessous de mon appartement.
J’aime souvent regarder les clients du bar assis sous ma fenêtre.
Ces jours-ci, le championnat d’Europe de football a lieu.
Le propriétaire du bar prépare des chaises et des bancs pour tous ses clients.
Il a également installé un grand écran pour regarder les matchs.
Le soir, la place en bas de chez moi est remplie de monde.
Pendant le match, tout le monde crie et applaudit quand il y a un but.
C’est un spectacle très divertissant.
C’est presque plus amusant que de regarder le match à la télévision.

I live on the first floor.
There is a bar below my apartment.
I often enjoy watching the bar patrons sitting under my window.
These days the European Football Championships are on.
The owner of the bar prepares chairs and benches for all his customers.
And he also puts up a big screen to watch the games.
In the evening, the square below my house is filled with people.
During the match, everyone shouts and cheers when there is a goal.
It is a very entertaining spectacle.
It’s almost more fun than watching the game on television.
