C’était une découverte importante.
Une découverte qui a changé l’histoire.
Mais malheureusement, de mauvaises choses sont arrivées.
Les Européens n’ont pas respecté les nouveaux peuples.
Et les premiers habitants de l’Amérique ont beaucoup souffert.

Europeans did not respect the new peoples.
And the original inhabitants of America suffered a lot.
